NtRand has been enhanced with 36 FUNCTIONS focusing on statistical hypothesis test.

These probability distributions applicable to statistical hypothesis test have been added:

• Chi square distribution (includes Pearson’s , Yates’, and Mantel-Heanszel’s chi-square tests, Bartlett’s test, and so forth)
• F distribution (includes F-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Friedman test, Levene test, and so forth)
• Student’s t distribution (includes Student’s t-test, Welch test, and so forth)

The following probability distributions have also been added:

• Chi distribution
• Gamma distribution

Random-number-generating functions and functions related to the five preceding probability distributions are available on the new Microsoft Excell® add-in.

GPGPU technology begins to spread in HPC area, however, it’s still not a handy tool for general consumers. In order to deliver much faster calculations by using GPGPU, we have created a tool which works on Microsoft Excel®. Here in this seminar we introduced this tool by showing some calculating demonstrations for derivatives.

On 5th October 2010 our Managing Director, Mr. Hideyuki Torii, attended “CEATEC JAPAN 2010″ in Japan hosted by ICSCP(Industrial Committee for Super Computing Promotion).

At “Trend Session” called TR-02 titled “ICSCP in the HPCI era ～How and what should we do～” he gave a presentation regarding Financial HPC. During the presentation he introduced how to apply HPC technology for financial industries by using our simulating products.

On 16th July 2010, our Managing Director, Mr. Hideyuki Torii, attended “GPU Computing 2010″ in Japan hosted by NVIDIA Japan.

Using our new calculating tool called NtParallel™, which is actually applying GPU technology on Microsoft Excel in order to get much faster calculating speed, Mr. Torii demonstrated how we can apply GPU Computing technology on business, especially financial industry.
